At Alison’s Bookshop we stock over 20,000 books on a wide variety of subjects, including local walks, UK travel and local history, as well as classical CDs, sheet music, cards and stationery. We are much bigger on the inside than we appear on the outside, and have two floors and seven rooms in which to browse away the hours. Ian Nicholson, the owner, is in the shop every day and is always happy to give any help and advice to customers. We are open six days a week from before 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
